About Us
Our History and Purpose
Created in 2020, the Coletivo Utopia Negra Amapaense is a black youth movement that seeks to strengthen political participation and black and peripheral identities in Amapá and the North of the country. Through political activism, digital mobilization and knowledge production, we address the defense of rights and greater participation of the black population in society. Building an action that ranges from academia to community articulation.
Popular Engagement and Communication
We use communication as a tool for empowerment and awareness, ensuring that the black population and traditional communities in the Amazon have an active voice in defending their rights and in building fairer public policies.
Gender and Race
We promote racial and gender equality as pillars of social justice. We create empowering spaces so that black people and traditional communities can claim their rights and build a fairer and more representative future.
